Richard is a business manager and marketer with years of success in growing brands and product lines in tech. He takes an entrepreneurial approach to developing businesses, finding creative ways to grow. Leveraging his expertise in data analytics, marketing, and communications, he is able to identify short term and long term opportunities and to push organizations forward.
He currently works as a business manager at Dell Technologies for the workstation, rugged notebook, and IoT (Internet of Things) portfolio, and has previously managed various product lines, including three major commercial notebook brands, collectively worth over $500M. He earned his BBA in Marketing from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Inclusive of this, is sound financial management by understanding where resources are best spent to yield the best results.
In pursuit of driving value for sales teams and customers, he has led various projects creating sales enablement resources involving multiple organizations and stakeholders. The success of those projects led to resources that were replicated across the globe.
From merchandising to product placement and route to market, he has a deep understanding of how every part of the marketing funnel operates across multiple channels, and how to best strategize to minimize conflict and maximize return.
His core philosophy in business management is rooted in data analytics. For most marketing activities, it is critical to identify metrics by which to measure success and return on investment; he has done this to great effect to uncover new opportunities in the market.
